Is there a name for these style of burners? It's out of a Basmor Boiler made for Crane. It's in my house that was built in 1898. Thanks for your help.

I don't know about old boiler parts and names, however I can't connect the age of the house to a gas system timeline. It's a lot of nozzles and makes me curious about the burner's info also. Best of luck with your search

Unless that was a gas-designed boiler, it is probably a custom-designed conversion burner. Slot-type flame ports are still used today, in other configurations.

Now that would be a sweet marshmallow cooker. You would need a long stick couldn't get too close.

Probably burned manufactured gas back then.

Doesn't look like there is a pilot, i guess a newspaper wrapped around a stick would work...........a long stick :)

I saw a few of these burners many years ago but I can't tell you the MFG. If it is not have a clean burning flame I would clean out the slots with a brass type wire brush and then clean out the gas orfices. If all else fails use compressed air and clean as best yo can. They look like they are out of a large size boiler. What is the rated input?

Anderson Forester I believe. there is an orifice under each on of those individual burner heads. lots of prayers said while pulling each and every one to clean. its been about a decade since I saw one in the wild
