I have an old Trianco Model DBC-100 boiler and I believe that it has developed a leak in the combustion chamber. Can that be fixed

Why do you think that?

If it's leaking from the heat exchanger, it's dead and can't be repaired. Trianco was purchased by Laars and they don't support the old equipment.
Time for a new boiler.
I don't recognize that model number. Is it a combi (domestic hot water and heating) unit?8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour
Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab0 -
That's a vertical tube steel dry base boiler. Time for an upgrade to a cast iron 3 pass or a System 2000.0
