Have not installed this yet, but soon. This buderus 2.40 looks like it was used very little, its in excellent shape. I'm looking for someone that has one that can give advise on start up, run temps or just things to share you learned on the way. I have a much simpler boiler I have been using for 15 years, not new to wood, just this make and model
if you think you have some good advice and want to help out here is my email spejeep@gmail.com thanks

I have one. It works great. You'd best be planning to install a heat storage tank along with it so that you can run the boiler most efficiently and safely. Keep the upper passageways brushed and clean regularly. Burn only well seasoned, dry hardwood in it! Make sure it burns hot. Make sure you install a heat dump in case the power goes out. The heat dump should circulate by gravity, typically using a NC electric zone valve.

I’m going on my second season with my wood burning Buderus. I need to get a storage tank to make use of all the heat it puts out. Also get a return water mixing valve. It makes sure the boiler return water is no cooler than 140°. It really helps prevent creosote.
