Different size mains off common header?

Is there any reason not to take different size mains off a common (larger)header?
E,g,:

Main 1- 2 1/2"
Main 2- 2 1/2"
Main 3- 2" The 2" is shorter then the larger ones.

Header is 4"

Thanks!

(??)Take them all up the same size and reduce the small one further down the line? (??)

Makes life simpler to take the different sizes all the way to the boiler. Glad to know there's no secret sauce with this. :)

Buying the correct reducing tees will save you from extra fittings and nipples. It's not wrong to use reducers just looks better without them less fittings less chance of leaks
