Burnham America

Just a follow up to the recent discussion about American Standard Boilers. We all know that the American Standard heating division was acquired by Burnham in the 70's. Here is a copy of a Burnham America product catalogue that I obtained in the early 80's. You can see the incorporation of the American Standard line. The information may have little relevancy for today's problems and discussions, but, I think, it may be interesting from an historical perspective.

Thanks. I never saw that much detailed info about the Base-Ray.

There was an error rendering this rich post.

Back when there was a little more quality than there is now. In fact the "22A" boiler I had in my house until I replaced it. It was there when I bought the place and must have been 45 years old when I replaced it. The one I had was made by American Standard

Interesting how flame-retention oil burners were still optional on some models. At that time Burnham was using Sunray and Wayne burners.

@Erin Holohan Haskell , can we add this to the Museum?

The 22A looks like an exact match to the "Holiday by Burnham" that still heats my house.  Just doesn't have the slide-out burners, although they are cast iron.
