How ASHRAE Began
In this episode, Dan Holohan shares the story of Hugh J. Barron who helped found The American Society of Heating and Ventilating Engineers and encouraged the nascent I=B=R. He believed in learning, teaching, and sharing. He also saw the future well and he did not suffer fools.

I have questions about calling a distributor or wholesaler or supply house a "jobber". I have seen it in mostly older books and I think it is where we get jobber length bits from, but is it an old term or is it regional or specialized to certain industries?0

Thanks for listening! And I believe jobber is an old term for the wholesaler, attributed to them by the fitters.Retired and loving it.0
