Hey fam,
Recently I observed the pressures on the Return line gauge aren't the same. One measures 45psi just before returning into the boiler and the other measures 16psi. Please what could be the explanation to this? Thanks

If you have the typical boiler the relief valve would open at 30 PSI, you would notice this.
What does the 45 gauge read when boiler off and cool...compared to the other gauge?
Maybe new gauge time.0 -
Well, it's always been on, I am have no clue of what the pressure is when turn off because it's always been working since I joined the system. Thanks0

can you turn everything off for 5 minutes?
including any circulators?
if so, hot or cold, the 2 gages should read ~ the same, as long as they're at ~ the same height in the system,
are the gages on different sides of the circ?known to beat dead horses0
