Boiler IOM needed

Gents,
I have a customer who just bought a house and the original manuals are not present. I have searched the Dunkirk site including the obsolete archive to no avail.
The boiler is a MN: PS-41 and I cannot find anything on it.
I’m suspecting the exhaust setup is wrong for this furnace. I think someone made a box draft hood and installed it after the 90 at the top of the stack before it goes to the chimney. It’s slow to get a decent draft (that is to completely pull all exhaust gasses out) if it ever does. It also has no blocked flue switches. Before I make any changes I’d like to see what the manufacturer spec’d but with no manual…..

anyone have a IOM for it?

    Post some pics.

Also, the draft problem may be an issue with the chimney rather than the boiler.

I think the PS means it is a steam boiler. 41 is probably a 4 section boiler. Does your boiler look like this?

    ...maybe without the vent damper?

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?
