Please help - System 2000 issue

in Oil Heating
Hello to all. New to the forum.
I am having issues with my EK System 2000. During a call for hot water the burner comes on and runs for approximately 60 seconds, and then shuts off, restarting on its own in about 8-10 minutes, only to again shut off about a minute later. The manager eventually locks out and 140 temp led flashes. I replaced the nozzle and electrodes, and changed the oil filter.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a company in your area that services EKs? (not all do) Post your location.
EK also hangs out here you will probably get a reply from them0 -
I do, and they are good. I just don't want to call if it is a simple fix.0

It’s nothing you can fix yourself. You might as well make the call.

Thank you for your post, @Drifter , and for your comments @STEVEusaPA and @EBEBRATT-Ed .
When there's a thermostat call for heat or hot water, the Energy Manager expects to see the temperature increase when the burner fires. If it doesn't heat up quickly enough, the manager will flash the 140°F light, indicating a burner lockout/failure or circulation failure. The manager will then open zone valves and keep the boiler circulator running for freeze protection.
Because the burner is running in your case, @Drifter , there is a circulation problem. It could be the circulator, or debris blocking flow, or possibly something electrical like the circulator relay.
Once the circulation problem is resolved, turning the System Emergency Switch off and then back on will clear the 140°F flashing light.
I'm glad to hear you have a well qualified heating professional - they should help you resolve this quickly, and they can call our tech support hotline if they have any questions.
