Never thought about the copper fittings.
But copper is so important to us besides the piping industry, for instance copper wire, cook ware and so many other things that the federal gov. stored mountains of high grade copper ore at CBC Gulfport Missisippi. When I say mountains, they were 25 high and hundreds of feet long, there were 8-10 of these as well as Bauxite.
