Has anyone ever had an issue with pex installation into warmboard where the  tubing not wanting to stay in the grooves? I used Viega barrier tubing that is on the approved list. Tubing…especially around the bends wants to pop out. Thanks.

  • Yes - I’ve only done a few Warmboard jobs and recall that that happened. We tacked down the bends with flat stakes until the silicone dried.

I also used some silicone....however they say in the directions to not do so... hence the confusion.

I know some of the PAP tube was tricky to keep in the bends.

You don't have an old Heatway/ Watts Radiant stapler around, do you:) That 1-1/2" crown Senco PW stapler worked well for keeping misbehaving tube in the groove.
