When you mentioned the per unit metered HX with the credit card readers in Europe I thought of the coin operated gas meters they used in tenements 100 or more years ago.
In your homemade drain pipe hx I would solder the tubes to the drain pipe for more surface area of contact.0 -
in reponse to bob he mention this coil heat exchanger, this made from stainless steel and installed in a mikva/pool0 -
