Outside Air Setpoints question

Member Posts: 1
My thermostat has a screen titled "Outdoor Air Setpoints" It includes the following:
Outdoor Temp :
OA HTG SETPT:
OA HTG ENABLE: (Yes or Not)
OA CLG SETPT:
OA CLG ENABLE: (Yes or No)
What are Outside Air Setpoints and how would these settings affect the run/output of the AHU. What are the benefits to enable or disable these settings? Are there preferred settings for these setpoints?
Thanks very much for your help.

We would need to know the Make and model of the thermostat and if you have an outdoor sensor wired to the system0

The thermostat is a Reliable Controls Mach-stat. Yes, an outdoor sensor is wired to the system.
Thanks very much.0
