One of my jobs the air vent that goes in end of rad was hard to catch the first screw. What size thread is it so I can buy a tap? Would my plumbing supply house have a tap for it?

If you own a tap and die set you may already have a 1/8" tap

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?
