If landlords have a $7 MV thermostat like that on the wall, they don't care about your temp setting unless they're passing through daily to check it. If the latter is the case, they're going to be even less thrilled with your silly invention and you're going to be looking for housing.0

Oh, and i guarantee whatever maintenance person that installed that thermostat didn't understand how to properly set the anticipator so adjusting the antcipator properly would be the proper fix.0
