Water Feeding

I have a boiler only a couple years old. The way it works is that water is feeded into it by a valve, the boiler heats it up, and sends it out through the pipes. When the shut off valve recognizes that the water has emptied out of the boiler, the feeder will start putting more water in the boiler. Recently, this cycle has been happening every 5 minutes. And when after couple hours we hear loud bangs in the pipes and I go to the boiler I have to empty a few buckets of water until the level in the gauge come down. Can you please guide me what’s the problem?
