Hello,
Is there a way to remove a non-functional oil level float indicator from a tank?

@rgar98 please send a PIC... if it is a standard one it is very easy assuming its not rusted and previously damaged
    Thank you!

The indicator is just the vial with the measurements. The float is the gauge.
Is it just the gauge, or is it a combi vent alarm?
Gauge alone, you might be able  to pull the whole float assembly out (careful, its going to be messy), then unscrew the bushing. If not, hold the float up while wrenching so it doesn't get caught up on the sides.
Use pipe compound only, no tephlon tape.
And if your interested, there are wireless gauges with transmitter, receiver, or through an app.

Thanks for all the responses. My gauge is in integrated into the base of the vent pipe. I think it would require "major surgery" to remove it.
