Peerless TW3

Member Posts: 1
HI All,
I have a Peerless Boiler #TW3, Serial # ending in (after dashes) 0991. I am wondering what the remaining life is of the boiler if it was manufactured in 1991. Unfortunately, I am not sure when it was installed. It has been running fine with annual tune-ups.
Any recommendations would be most appreciated!
Thank you!

Hot water or steam.
Actually it really doesn't matter. Take care of it and maintain it. I would not change a boiler of that vintage until it leaks.
But 30 years old, who knows?
If it was me I would do a heat loss of you home using the Slant Fin app (if hot water). If it is steam then measure and calculate the EDR of your radiation. Do this before you call any contractors.
The contractor should do the heat loss or EDR calc but many don't.
The you can get a quote. Tell the contractor you want a "budget figure" to plan for a replacement0
