Air in baseboard heating

Hi all
im trying to bleed air out of my baseboards because they make that gurgling sound. I found videos on YouTube that show booking a hose up to a discharge spigot and manually turning on the zone valve. That’s my problem..I can’t find the zone valve. I have a 1 zone system..a New Yorker oil burner...around a 1993 vintage lol. Any tips would be appreciated.

If you have only 1 thermostat then you don't have zone valves Do everything in the video except the zone valve part.

You may have more than one loop on the zone if your home is larger. There should be separate purge valves to connect the hose to. Or at least some type of valve to direct the water thru one loop at a time.

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?
