    Next summer have that boiler cleaned and serviced including brushing the flue passages and removing and cleaning the burners and the smoke hood and flue pipe on top and a combustion test

    People think gas burns clean and they never get serviced until they fail. I did one the other day installed in 1999 and had never been serviced.

    It doesn't have to be done every year but you probably have some soot and debris that is falling down on the burners
