My supplier suggests this boiler because I have 6 cast iron radiators and suggests a use a Naviclean filter NAVGXXX001727. Anyone know anything about this? And how much maintenance is involved? Thanks

A good dirt and air separator would be fine. Install the factory manifold and it has purge valves that you can use to back flush the heat exchanger. I dot see how tiny iron oxide particles will be any issue. They will pass right through. It’s all the bigger bits that the dirt separator needs to stop. Are 6 cast iron radiators all you have? That’s a big boiler. Also, remember that unless you use polypropylene or similar exhaust you are limited to 147f return water temp. So only 160-170f supply temps depending on flow rates. If you need 180 for low mass baseboard, you can’t use PVC.0
