I am getting ready to install a tiger loop on my oil burner system, I am wondering what the best thing to use on all the fittings that go into the pump and the Tiger loop or should I use anything at all?

What do you mean use on them? Are you asking what kind of fittings to use? They need to be flare fittings. I'd use copper line into the TL and then get the braided lines to go to and from the burner. Makes it simple to hook up and way easier for cleaning the boiler later.0

Do not use teflon tape on an oil system . Loose pieces can jam the pump .
There was an error rendering this rich post.

Best thing to use is the by-pass plug.0

As far as pipe dope you can use anything that is approved for use on oil. Most are but a few are not... Read the label.
Gasolia is a popular dope that will work. As @Big Ed_4 mentioned no teflon tape. and yes flare fittings no compression fittings and you need to install yhe bypass plug in the pump as @BDR529 mentioned0
