Tried a cheap jaw replacement years ago on a 24" wrench.
While using a a 2 foot lever on the wrench he upper broke which caused me fall off 3 foot ladder. Additionally the lower jaws flattened out after I rerplaced the upper jaws.
Ridged is by far the best pipe wrench manufacturer around unless you can find Proto if they still make pipe wrenches.
