Is this pump sound a concern in your opinion?

It's an Armstrong S45 with the NON maintenance free bearings. They were oiled but perhaps not enough at one time.

Note, sound volume increase/decrease due to moving closer and further away...

    It needs to be repaired. If that circulator is a B+G unit you should have no trouble obtaining parts.

    Armstrong s45. 

    Started to replace the bearing assembly. However one or both screw type pump isolation valves failed. So now have to either freeze to replace everything or drain, refill, bleed which is a B. Or let it ride.... 

    Think it's the bearing or coupling maybe?
