Buderus Quick-Mix Station Circulator Squealing

The Quick-Mix Station circulator for the water heater zone was squealing. Turned it off. 5 minutes later, the circulator for 2nd floor circulator started squealing. I noticed the overflow valve is leaking, enough to fill a bucket over a week's time (this just started to get worse). Could there be air getting into the system from this leak? thanks
