rad valve issues

I'm getting hit hard on this, the valve on the floor was the original (19 years old) the one installed in the new one. The original TRV head was fine but it was not activating the valve (threaded on but the 'throw' was too loose). Anyone have a source? It's a 1.0, not the modern 1.5 thread

whatever insignia on the 'installed valve' is all I know. The one on the floor was the original one, which croaked. I had no idea replacing a valve could be such a pain. Thanks0
