Issue with Steam Generator

I am having an issue with a customer’s steam generator Kohler model # k-5529-na. The unit is displaying a code 140 on the user interface. Kohler sent the customer a replacement what was labeled as a thermal fuse (it looked more like a temperature sensor that installed in the tank) I replaced the sensor and cleaned the inlet filters, and made sure the float was operable and heard water entering the tank. The unit turned on, started to put out steam in the shower then after about three minutes, it stopped and displayed code 140. I reset the unit, and the results were the same. In looking in the manual it says to check for a restriction in the steam head, steam head appears clear, or replace the steam generator. It does not state what specifically triggers a code 140. I was posting to see if anyone else has had experience with this Kohler unit. Thanks to all

Troubleshooting water leaking from the steam head of Kohler K-5529-NA 9kW steam generator.
The problem would seem to be the plumbing end of the electronic controller switch. Need help identifying, finding, and replacing the affected part. This should NOT be rocket science. Anyone have any ideas?

Is the optional automatic flush down installed ? How many fuseable links did they send ?

Is there a chance that it is suffering from scale build-up? This could cause the problem.
