I Can't remember! Pump press x Noz size divided by ?? Thought there was a specific equation.

Was written on top of an old Beckett flow chart

    Thanks but I got those charts. It was a way to use a calculator to figure those odd pressures and nozzles.

    I never knew of an actual formula. I looked it up in any book of mine that should have it to no avail. I'm sure it's out there somewhere.
    The chart is pretty easy to implement for newer (3450) OEM stuff.
    For newer burners on old equipment, the chart gets you close, nozzle substitution test and looking at the flame in the chamber should get you the rest of the way, especially for spray angle, and hollow vs. solid.
    The only true test is to put the end of the nozzle line into a bucket, run it for a predetermined time, measure the results, for each nozzle.
    The chart should be close enough, no?
