anti freeze test

Will an automotive anti freeze tester work on a hydronic system to check % of concentration. If not can someone recommend one. Thanks

    There are testers for PG type automotive fluid, see if you have that type

    Get a refractometer for propylene (hopefully) glycol.

    Advanced Auto has for PG anti freeze and Amazon has refractometers. Thanks for the help

    Buy a refractometer from DHGate.com, Ebay.com or Amazon.com. They are cheap, really cheap and would do the job better than any auto antifreeze tester.

    depending on how often you plan on using it, and the quality there is a wide price range for refractometers.

    80 bucks buys a good quality name brand meter.

    Floating ball type are common at automotive suppliers.
