I have a hypothesis about why Burnham IN boilers rust out above the water line.

Anybody seen the Burnham Steam Max atmospheric in the field yet? The design seems interesting for sure. I checked the installation manual and got to say has excellent advice such as do not use copper header, steam leaks rot boilers, mains and rads must have functioning vents, etc.
The specs seem to indicate pretty large chest/weight for btu inputs that is fire larger chest with less input and 2 outlets to slow velocity to header...and no pins above water line.
It would seem like they are going to be more expensive but cannot even find them at supply houses now which give the everything shortage means probably wont really show up until maybe 2022.
