Carefully loosen that large screw and see if any air vents out. Air trapped in the circulator is one common noise.
If it is more of a squeal, could be the bearing is fried, the motor will need to be replaced. Is it circulating the water ok?
If a large pocket of air traps it will stop flowing and often the motor gets very hot to the touch. This condition is when the bearings can be compromised.Bob "hot rod" Rohr
