Does anyone know what the life expectancy is once installed? I also see what looks like a rubber washer that goes over the old seats in the mepco trap. Do they work at correcting bad seats and does it hold up under heavey use?

    The old seat needs to be in reasonably good shape. Once in, they work fine.

    But FYI, unless something has changed recently, MEPCO sells OEM repair kits for those traps.
