I changed out my old transformer and control for the newer Becket electronic pieces, the old pump had no solenoid, the new pump has one. Will it work with a 7505a controller? Should all the wiring be done as directed in the diagram? Wii the solenoid delay the oil starting to flow and stop the puffing?

The A doesn't have pre and post purge. It's basically a 3 wire control. You can wire the solenoid with the burner motor and it will open and cut-off, but no pre/post purge. You would either need a universal Genysis (I think a P) and the contractor tool to program it.
Or stick a Carlin ProMaxx, or Honeywell R7248U in and program it yourself. There was an error rendering this rich post.

Thank you for the info, what do you think could be causing to go PUFF? Every time it starts.0
