Weil-McLain Steam boiler - hydronic loop stopped working

We have a single pipe steam system. Works like a charm.
Unfortunately though the hydronic loop for our extension that is on a different thermostat
stopped working.
I can feel the pump starting when the thermostat is on 'heat'. But there is no warm water circulating
and the boiler does not seem to be on.
I feel the pump is running a bit hot. Like there is no water in it. But that might just be me projecting.
Entire system is about 4 years old.
Any pointers and / or suggestions would be much appreciated.

What you have there is a wet rotor circulator. They can get seized up and it is hard to tell besides the water does not flow. The motor will still get hot.0

looked at the picture for 20 seconds and i can spot two things.
one your don't need an expansion tank or air eliminator. If I went to look at it I would say looks like a rookie did it.
you have air in the line you need to get the air out, did the installer leave some way to get the air out.0 -
There is a PRV as well, so I'm thinking it is using a tankless coil as an HX.0

The tankless on that boiler would be located where that big round plate, so no tankless in this boiler.mattmia2 said:There is a PRV as well, so I'm thinking it is using a tankless coil as an HX.

Tankless for that boiler is inside the jacket. Front left corner. On the left most section. Rectangular plate.0 -
Must have the provision for both on that one then, didn't realize they did that.

So then is that a tankless inside the jacket just below the service switch?0

Can you take a picture of the piping behind the expansion tank? Is there a drain in that pipe that transitions from iron to copper?
Where is that aquastat? Is it inside the front cover on the lower left?0
