Hi guys
If the boiler hasn’t been cleaned in 10 years , can co leak in boiler room in a Vitodens 200 ? Please advise
It vents through the wall with proper pitch
With pipe inside pipe

    10 years?? Got pics of the cleaning?

    Is co suspect? Is there a co detector going off?

    It does not seem like one thing would directly cause the other.

    Unless the venting is defective, it's unlikely the boiler poses a risk. The older models do have a new vent adapter kit that retrofits and comes with the HX replacement recall. You may want to call Viessmann or your dealer for more info. Damage to the HX can occur when yearly cleaning is ignored.
