Single pipe steam system leak

We have a one pipe steam system that is constantly losing water when running. It needs to be filled every other day. When system is shut down for summer the water level will completely drain down within a 2 or so weeks. System has a hartford looped low water level shut off. Where could my problem be?
Thanks,

The most common place for leaks is the wet return, but this would only allow water to drain down to the level of the Hartford loop. The only way the boiler could lose all of its water while it isn't running would be a leak in the bottom of the boiler itself.Just another DIYer | King of Prussia, PA
