Graphite coatings

I’ve got a long term project of stapling up floor heat to my first floor through my basement.
I bought US made aluminum plates, and have recently learned about graphite.
The graphite flex plates are 10x the price and not worth it, but they make graphite spray coatings and flexible graphite sheets.
Anyone have any thoughts on spraying the plates with graphite or buying some of graphite sheets and sticking them above the heat transfer plates to improve heat transfer ?
