Honeywell MagicStat32 Anticipator Screw

The manual says for a hydronic system, loosen the A screw out one full revolution, which lengthens cycles. For those with experience with this t-stat, is this an all in or all out setting? Does half a revolution out give you an in-between setting? More than one revolution give you greater cycle length? (Presuming screw doesn't fall out.) I could experiment of course, but prefer not to go against the manual.
