Problems with Honeywell TH8110R1003 redlink systems

We've been successfully using these thermostats with matching wireless sensors for several years to serve as an inexpensive multi-unit averaging control. Recently, however, we have had 2 buildings where the thermostat no longer picks up the farther away sensors, even though it had no problem when installed only 9 months earlier. New batteries made no difference. We also seem to be experiencing some wonky programming where the thermostat would never set up after set back. Made for a couple of chilly worship services at our church last spring.
Anybody else seeing a big uptick in problems with these Redlink thermostats. We've dropped Honeywell products from nearly all other parts of our business due to very poor quality and it looks like we may be having to drop these thermostats too. Any suggestion for alternatives? Still haven't had a chance to test out the Johnson controls pressure control to replace the utterly deplorable Honeywell pressuretrols.
