Hello. We have a Buderus furnace and keep having intermittent power to the zone value control. Checked wiring, nothing loose or obvious. Any help would be greatly appreciated!:)

What brand of zone valve control do you have?8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour
Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab0 -

If the Zone control is controlled by the 2107, it will be disabled when OAT is above WWSDTo learn more about this professional, click here to visit their ad in Find A Contractor.1

Check WWSD? Also, is it doing DHW when the power goes out to the zone valve board? That's how it is supposed to work, DHW always has priority. It was designed for mid- to high-mass heating systems where you have to give DHW priority over the heating circuits, but it ends up being sort of odd on a low-mass system, especially with hydro-air or unit heaters.0

Aha! Yes, zone control is connected to the 2107, that make sense since the DHW has priority:) Thanks guys!0

You can disable DHW priority on the 2107 if you want too. I can't remember if it can be programmed with a set time limit to switch back over to space heating if the DHW demand is too long.0
