Boiler mystery- Crown hydronic boiler

So...I hear something running from the boiler the middle of the night, when it's very quiet. It sounds as if water is running into the boiler & it continues for 20-30 seconds, then stops. A minute goes by & it starts all over. No water leaks anywhere. Not sure what is making this noise but something from the boiler is since it disappears after I shut the boiler off.
