Peerless heating coil replacement

Hi guys, looking for a opinion here. My furnace guy said it was due for a coil replacement. He did the job, in and out in 2 hours. No issues.
I feel I was over charged. Has anyone else had this job done?

Isn’t the time to be concerned about price before the job is started, like when you get the estimate? What did the contractor say when you asked him?
Pricing isn’t allowed on this site so please remove it if you can still edit your post.
I'd more more concerned what prompted the coil replacement? The boiler looks fairly new.
Your definition of 'no problems' may be different then the contractors.
Did he quote you a flat rate, or T&M?
Are you on well water or have other water problems? There was an error rendering this rich post.

The thing about replacing a tankless coil is you dont really know what you're getting into until you start, so the contractor needs a little buffer time. Granted that looks like an easy one, but one never knows. He did a nice job. Even threw out the supplied bolts and installed studs and nuts. Was an indirect water heater an option?0
