Gorton #2 vent specs

Is there any published data on gorton vents , to be specific the engineered temperature rating that closes the # 2 vent ? If looking on the Gorton site they are vague . Mr . Gill here says it closes on 110 degree heat if over a boiler . Is there a place that has the design specs , maybe the patent will tell me ? It seems that design specs are kept secret out there , i had no idea that some vents close at temps cooler than 200 . Please help .
