the fan in a can wants to go between the thermostat and the controller. I have it working for one zone. where wouid I connect it to turn on the outside fan (fan in a can) and the board? thanks!

The fan should turn on when the burner turns on only. You don't want the fan running when the burner is off. That just pulls energy out of the boiler and sends it up the chimney.
That fan in the can should connect directly to the burner circuit.I am the walking Deadman

What type of equipment, gas or oil? The manufacturer has an easy wiring diagram for either.
Like John said, it's wired in as and intended to be a safety. No fan proving, no burner firing.
