HELP... Need Contractor in Greater Philadelphia Area who knows both Steam Heat Systems & Forced Air

Hello All:

Looking for help in finding a qualified contractor in the Greater Philadelphia who knows both steam heat and also forced air and hot water systems. Need someone that can perform a one pipe steam boiler replacement and retrofit of old piping that was done incorrectly, along with designing a new heating/cooling system for a two-story addition that will balance with the existing heat/cooling system.

I currently have a one pipe steam system heating the house, and a central AC system for cooling all rooms except the kitchen and breakfast nook on the first floor that are not served by the central AC. Looking to add-on a two-story addition and need a HVAC design that utilizes the best way to heat and cool the new addition. Seeing we currently need to replace our steam boiler at this point in time and can size and spec it as needed, some thoughts were to run a new steam main to the two story addition, or do a second zone of hot water heat off of the new steam boiler. Then we would add a new central AC system that could serve the two story addition and the kitchen and breakfast nook. Or another thought would be to add a forced air system that serves the new addition for heat and cooling, and would include the kitchen/breakfast nook area of the main house for AC.

Although some contractors seem to know steam, and some seem to know forced air systems, I need someone who knows both very well and can help to specify an overall design that meets the unique needs of our project. Thanks
