    That would be good as I was looking for Essex Gas controls info.
    Old boilers of that vintage and before used them.

    Thank you both for that.
    However, I have a few Essex 243/244 gas valves. 1" &1 1/4"
    These have a separate pilot sol control valve.
    Tim McElwain helped me with these in Nov of 2018.
    He has truck load of info on everything and was going to inquire about putting some of it here, but as he said, where does one start?

    My daughters asked me that when they were little and it was time to clean up their rooms.

    I'd point at a doll on the floor and say - start with that. And then, go on to the next one. B)
