munchkin boiler F09 error

in Gas Heating
model 140m R2 .... The flame rectification probe part# is 7500P-039. When I ordered a new one I received part# 7250P-049 which is longer than the 039. I installed it anyway and monitored the voltage which did reach 4.0 volts and the boiler is working fine. Is there any reason why I should not use the longer probe?

    I can’t see any reason why it would be a issue. Have u had your boiler serviced meaning burner pulled heat exchanger cleaned ,combustion testing . Also have u checked your spark Ignitor . Usually getting flame or ignition issues means it might be up for servicing peace nd good luck clammy
