Megapress pipe prep?

Just about to get into a 3/4 BMI job will be a lot easier with megapress. What are people doing, if anything, to prepare outer pipe wall for the joint to be made?

Well you’re supposed to get the training and get the card for your wallet. The mega tool kit comes with all the tools to prep the pipe. At times I simply clean the pipe with open mesh sand cloth, not down to bare metal but maybe 1/2 way. We use a mini band saw too0
