Info on Ray Oil Burner and Heggie-Simplex Boiler

Goodmorning,

I have been looking for the burn rate of an old Ray Oil Burner or the BTU input for a Heggie-Simplex boiler. The burner is a Size 2, Type PG with a .25 hp, 1725 rpm, single phase 115v motor.
The boiler is a firebox, Size 319, manufactured in 1927. I'm almost to the point of sizing the replacement burner based on the data for an equivalent Kewanee Type C.

Would anyone out have any info for this boiler and/or burner size and type?

Thank you,
Lucas

Heggie Simplex is long gone and that boiler being originally designed for coal firing the rating is all over the place. If you can find "square feet of heating surface" on the nameplate that would give a clue

Ray is still in business they were bought out by "Selas" you can google them . I think they are still in San Francisco. They may still have information on that old burner.

If this is a burner replacement, measure the gas pressure at the burner head. It's likely 3 1/2" wc. Then get the number of oarfice(s) the gas feeds through and the gas flow can be computed

Because the burner has redundant gas valves your probably 500K-800k
