value of outdoor reset controller on injection mixing with gassification boiler and storage???

I have seen outdoor reset control used with injection mixing and radiant floors touted by many as a way to increase comfort, reduce costs, and even out temp swings. It all makes sense. However in my application, I will be feeding my zones (in slab radiant) from 1000 gallons of storage, heated by a gassification boiler. Since my water supply from the boiler/tanks to the injection pump will vary in temp from roughly 180F down to say 100F, I will use about 3gpm from storage at 180F and a full 16 gpm when the tanks have reached 100F, assuming an 80F return temp. In other words, to squeeze as much from storage as possible, I believe I would want to use as low a supply temp as possible. I understand outdoor reset will modulate the injection temp- but what if it wanted to supply temps above what are available at that point in storage? It seems I would be leaving btu's in the tank, so to speak....Any insights? Thanks.
